Welcome to Zen Den Lyons! Located a stone’s throw away from Downtown Lyons, our yoga studio offers a variety of yoga classes and workshops to meet our community’s needs. Nestled between Glow Salon and Appearances Med Spa, the studio boasts large windows that allow the light of the sun to shine in and warm our bodies as we practice. The studio is intimate and inviting but with ample space to breathe and flow. Clean lines, cool tones, and simplistic décor create a climate free from distractions, allowing students plenty of opportunity to focus their attention inward. Yoga means union (of mind and body) and we believe that yoga strengthens our connection to one another when we practice together. Our studio is in existence because of our desire to cultivate an environment where all people seeking health and wellness feel loved, accepted, and free to be themselves.

Yoga Basics

A 60-minute alignment-based class/subject matter and style of teaching geared towards the beginner student but suitable for intermediate students who want to brush up on the foundational poses. Classic yoga poses will be presented with an emphasis on alignment and key actions in the body.

Yin Yoga

A 60 minute quiet, calm, & introspective class | Its purpose is to stretch the connective tissues, ligaments, cartilage, joints, & the deep fascia networks of the body. This stretching balances body and mind, increases joint mobility, and restores energy. Begin with slow, fluid movement to warm the body then, settle in for longer held, static floor postures. In yin yoga, release control by placing the body into various shapes & naturally adapting, without any force; with a spirit of surrender.

Life Coaching

Life coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Individual sessions are by appointment only. It can be over the phone or in person. The sessions are 60-90 minutes, depending on the needs of the client. A guided meditation is included in the session.
